November 6, 2010 -- uploaded an article about embalming as it was practiced by the Ancient Egyptians.
October 3, 2010 -- added an article about the goddess Hathor and Bastet, the cat goddess. Also cleaned up some typos on other pages. Started a text archive. The first book posted is Budge's 1908 text about the Egyptians' beliefs about life after death.
Szeptember 25, 2010 -- added a new section about the daily life of the Ancient Egyptians.
September 11, 2010 -- added a pages on the sun god Ra and Seth, and also freshened up some of the other pages dealing with the Egyptian gods.
April 12, 2010 -- added meta tags to all pages. See recommendations from http://nibbler.silktide.com/reports/www.egyptpast.com for further recommendations.
April 4, 2010 -- added an article about the Old Kingdom period of the ancient Egyptian civilization and wrote an article about the Egyptian god Horus.
April 3, 2010 -- added articles about Anubis, god of the dead and Maat, goddess of order and justice.
March 13, 2010 -- added a section on the enormous temple and burial complex located at Saqqara.
March 10, 2010 -- created a section on the egyptian gods and added an article about Isis and Osiris and the Egyptian beliefs in the afterlife.
February 14, 2010 -- added a section about the Egyptian Pyramids as well as an article about Imhotep the ancient genius credited with building the first pyramid.
January 10, 2010 -- the first change of the new decade. Made a change to the page lay out. Soon will add new scanned documents.
October 12, 2009 -- today this site got its first visitor from a search engine. The search term was "facts on ancient egyptian families" from Yahoo. Also got a search from google, but it was for egyptplast.com, whatever that is.
October 3, 2009 -- this site got crawled by googlebot for the first time
September 28, 2009 -- made some changes to the about us page.
September 27, 2009 -- added images and alt tags. Built the front page. Added a counter. Built a Site Map, xml map and a site html report.
September 26, 2009 -- added the core articles to the site. The pages are still pretty basic.
September 26, 2009 -- updated the privacy policy
December 20, 2008 -- created a privacy policy, an about us page, and this page for site news. I will be adding real content in the new year.
December 17, 2008 -- built a basic front page.
